Our mission

CVDesk was built to solve a simple problem β€” South African recruiters struggled to find quality candidates quickly, and job seekers had no easy way to get their CVs in front of the right people. We built a clean, secure, POPIA-compliant platform that puts candidates in control of their data while giving recruiters the search tools they actually need.

Candidate data is never sold. CVs are stored privately and only shared with verified recruiters who have paid to access them. You are always in control of your information.

All CVs are stored in a private directory that is inaccessible from the web. Files can only be accessed through our application after identity verification.

Rate limiting

Recruiters are limited to 10 CV downloads per hour. Automated bulk downloading is detected and blocked. Every download is logged with a timestamp and IP address.

Anonymised previews

Recruiters see a candidate's skills, location and experience before unlocking. Names and contact details are only revealed after payment β€” preventing profile harvesting.

Full audit trail

Every unlock and every download is recorded. Candidates can see their download count. Admins can see the full activity log for any recruiter account.
